SIGNAL SCROLL / THE DETAILS

Useful takes. Real sources.

We aim to leave you with a clear understanding and something useful to try. Speed never justifies inventing an announcement, a source, a quote, a hands-on review, or a claim of availability.

Original explanation, direct attribution.

We write fresh explanations and add practical interpretation rather than copying another publication’s article or lightly rewriting its structure. Sources are linked near the news summary and listed at the end. If a direct quotation adds value, it is brief, in quotation marks, attributed, and kept within the source’s permitted quotation limits.

Facts, claims, and our take.

Primary announcements and research papers are our starting point. We name the company behind performance claims, label our practical analysis, and describe preview, experimental, or restricted access honestly. A link to a product is not a claim that we have tested it. Dates distinguish our publication from the underlying announcement.

The artwork.

Every article has its own AI-created editorial image matched to its topic. We use science-focused, photographic art direction with physical materials and no people. The images are conceptual illustrations, not photographs of the actual products or evidence of research results. Article captions identify the artwork as AI-generated.

What we publish.

New AI software, models, creative tools, methods, developer technology, and a smaller number of ethics stories. The daily edition targets five distinct original short reads. On slow news days, a grounded explainer or practical method can replace a thin announcement; it must be labeled accordingly and add value. We do not manufacture news to fill a quota.

AI assistance and corrections.

Articles are AI-assisted and may contain errors. Research should be verified against cited sources before publication. Readers can send corrections from every story; material corrections should be checked, updated, and acknowledged. We do not imply that every automated edition receives human review.

Editorial independence.

We choose topics for relevance and learning value. Paid placements are marked “Paid partner” or “Advertisement,” and paid links use sponsored attributes. A payment does not buy factual claims, undisclosed endorsements, or removal of criticism. Free alternatives and limitations remain relevant even when a paid tool is available.
